To become a global lifestyle brand that uses sales of conscious products to create positive social change around the world.
“Mai Pehn Rai.” It’s Thai for “It’s cool, no worries, or take it easy,” and this is how we want to live our lives.† It’s our mantra, our lifestyle.† Adopting this philosophy helps us build a better business and a healthier lifestyle.
Feelgoodz has created a unique partnership Ashoka. Feelgoodz will use sales of our conscious products to support Ashoka Fellows and their ventures. We will start in Thailand, and our areas of focus are Environmentalism (Planet), Fair Trade (People), and Community Development/Micro-Finance (Phitsanulok, Thailand). See our triple bottom-line donation model below:
- 1% for the Planet
- 1% for the People
- 1% for Phitsanulok (Thailand)
1% for the Planet – Steppin’ Easy
Feelgoodz is committed to creating a sustainable business, and we believe in steppin’ easy as we walk the Earth. We use biodegradable natural rubber. We use recycled paper and recycled flop hangers. We’re not environmentalists, but we’re doing our part. And our contribution of 1% for the Planet enables us to support environmental organizations worldwide.
1% for the People – Givin’ back
The main reason we started this business was to give back to the people of Thailand. It is imperative that our Thai employees are treated fairly. We don’t condone child labor. We demand fair wages. We expect proper working conditions. Currently, there are no natural rubber fair trade programs set in place, and therein lies part of our cause. It’ll take us a while, but we aim to create the necessary systems and processes to implement a Fair Trade Natural Rubber Program in Thailand. We are working with TransFair UA to be the first FT Certified Rubber Product in America!
1% for Phitsanulok – Feelin’ Good
Another part of our mission is to strengthen the communities in Thailand, especially in Phitsanulok. That’s where Joel and I lived while we were living in Thailand. We plan to develop an infrastructure that focuses on creating and sustaining healthy economies for the people in Southeast Asia. It is a long term, lofty goal, but it reminds why we started this Feelgoodz in the first place.
